How common is bullying?
Statistics show that 30% of students from grade sixth through tenth are either a bully or a victim of bullying, about half of high school students admit to bullying other students in the past year. For cyber bullying research shows that about 75% of people will get bullied in their lifetime.
Why don't children tell?
The reason why kids don't tell anyone their being bullied is because they don't want to feel their tattling on one another, they fear retaliation if they tell an adult, some also feel that the person they tell may not believe them, also kids feel embarrassed or ashamed to even tell anyone.

Study shows that kids who are a bully or a victim or bully may go on into the future being an abusive adults. Also, study show that kids who are bullied or a bully may go onto doing more serious crimes in the future.
Are there differences in the bullying experiences of boys and girls?
Studies and statistics found that it is more common for boys to be involved in physical bullying, and for girls they are most likely to be involved in physiological bullying.
